Latinx Heritage Month is just around the corner. Starting September 15 and lasting until October 15, the celebratory month aims to highlight the history and culture of Latinx-Americans. Whether you’re a part of the Latin American community or not, this is an excellent time to immerse yourself in Latinx-created TV shows and books, but it’s also the perfect time to support Latinx-owned businesses, too.

As a Mexican-American, I’ve dedicated a majority of the last few years to hunting down some of the best Latinx-owned brands out there so others can enjoy them as well. Below, I rounded up a few of my favorite Latinx-owned brands on Amazon that you can shop right now. My go-to haircare and beauty brands and even some of my favorite snacks are just a few of the many Latinx-owned brands you can support this month and every month.

Inspired by their Costa Rican heritage, the owners of Volcanica have dedicated themselves to bringing high-quality, single-origin coffees to the U.S. They source their beans from a variety of volcanic regions around the world to bring the best blends to your morning coffee. Customers love the Costa Rican Coffee from Tarrazu thanks to its balance, its aroma, and its overall flavor. In fact, the bold dark roast has a 4.4-star rating.

Rizos Curls Detox Scalp Scrub

Rizos Curls Detox Scalp Scrub

Amazon

I’ve been using Rizos Curls products for years. Founded by Mexican-American Julissa Prado, the brand was created with a mission to develop the best product for all types of curls. Customers rave about the brand’s signature shampoo and conditioner, but my favorite product as someone with naturally straight, fine hair is their detox scalp scrub. I use this once every few weeks to help remove product build-up on my scalp. Not only does it help refresh my hair, but it also smells so good.

Honest Beauty Makeup Remover Facial Wipes

Honest Beauty Makeup Remover Facial Wipes

Amazon

Orig. $20 $10 at Amazon

Founded by actor Jessica Alba, Honest Beauty aims to create clean, sustainable products that are both ethical and high quality. The company has banned over 3,500 ingredients in their formulas and has donated over 25 million products to families in need. They’re also dedicated to sustainability, using recycled materials in their packaging. I’ve tried a few of their products over the years and especially love their facial wipes. You get 90 wipes for $20, and they’re gentle on your skin and effective at removing even the toughest waterproof eyeliners and mascaras.

Below, I rounded up a few more of my favorite products from Latinx-owned brands, including soap from Nopalera and burrito wraps from Mr. Tortilla.
